Ploxmons Wiki

Ploxbosses (or bosses) are the mutual enemies the players have to fight with their teams. In the lore they are extremely dangerous creatures that threaten the entire existence of the peacful Ploxmons.

General Description

Bosses are way more powerful than your average Ploxmon. Each turn they demand a tribute from the players and attack your team recklessly if they were not satisfied.  If you're not careful, they'll wipe out your entire team over and over! Like the mons, the bosses each are very unique but have unusual combat abilities. This forces the players to adapt their strategy within a game everytime a new boss shows up.

Boss difficulty

There are three levels for Ploxbosses. Ploxbosses of the first level always spawn as the first boss each game and are rather easy to defeat. Ploxbosses of the second stage spawn after the first one and they are more challenging. There is also the rare occurance of extremely powerful Level 3 Bosses at the end of very close games!

Appearance

The boss monster’s stats are a bit special. They also have a Power stat but the attack behaviour varies:

  • ICON Single target attacker: Attacks ONE Ploxmon. If you don’t have the mercy of this boss, it will deal this amount of dmg to one of YOUR Mons (chosen randomly)
  • ICON AOE attack: Attacks ALL Ploxmons. But if you don’t have the mercy of this boss, it will deal more dmg to YOUR team than to your opponent’s. This is why AOE bosses have two Power stats (one for the mercy owner and one for the other player).
  • ICON Poison AOE attack: Works like the AOE one but inflicts passive poison damage over time instead of upfront direct damage.

The Speed stat includes a “+” which  means it'll always win speed ties against Ploxmons.

Ploxpowers

Ploxpowers are orb like items that power up your deck in various ways which is a lot of fun.  They all got a different ability to support a certain strategy. Each boss drops a unique Ploxpower. The drop chance depends on the boss level.
